Practicing Good Hygiene
Keeping hair clean is necessary and is one of the best ways of how to prevent hair loss. Gently wash hair on a regular basis with a mild shampoo that is enriched with proteins and vitamins. When the hair and scalp are clean, it helps prevent any infections that may cause hair loss and washes away dirt and oils which clog pores which can lead to hair loss.
Also, do not brush hair that is wet. Wet hair can be pulled out in clumps or can remove hair that is still growing. Instead, use a comb with wide teeth. If hair becomes tangled do not pull at it with a brush or comb, gently untangle it with fingers.
Pat dry hair after shampooing, do not rub or scrub the hair with a towel because this could cause breakage. When brushing the hair use a soft bristled brush and natural oils or lotions to style, and nourish the hair.
