Plagiarism is an endemic that has caused great concern in the academic community that has left much of academia scratching their heads. To counteract the prevalence of plagiarism many professors and schools have implemented a zero-tolerance policy which can result in a failure of the course or even expulsion. This is just one step educators must take to <strong>prevent plagiarism</strong> and spur creative work from their pupils.</p>
<p>Academia needs to take steps to ensure that their students feel the need and want to create new and intriguing content. The thrill and surge of creativity that a person gains when creating an original piece of work is fulfilling in a way few other experiences can replicate. Plagiarism can stunt  an individual&#8217;s creativity and will to work. This problem can lead to additional issues that include ineffective work habits and an unwillingness to think outside the box. Showing students the vivid worlds Hemingway and Vonnegut creating through their work can be used as a strong tool to demonstrate benefits of individual creation.</p>
<p>Until an individual understands the need for original work in the world they will continue to believe they do not have a responsibility to further the amount of original data in the world. Educators must make it part of their curriculum to help students understand the positive effects of submitting original work and the drawbacks of plagiarism.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Cancer is almost like a dirty word these days. It pains many to even say the word out loud. There is no one that doesn’t know someone that has been affected by cancer. Most people even have close relatives or friends that have had or passed away from cancer. With this many people having cancer, it is important to know steps you can take to prevent cancer.</p>
<p>It is also important, of course, to know what cancer is. Cancer is defined as a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body &#8211; a malignant growth or tumor resulting from such a division of cells. Cancer cells can do this in any part of your body. Many times these cells cause lumps or knots on infected areas.</p>
<p>There are several different ways to prevent cancer and they all involve taking care of yourself.</p>
<ol>
<li>Stay away from smoke and other environmental dangers. These can range anywhere from cigarette smoke to coal dust and radiation.</li>
<li>Don’t use tobacco. It’s expensive and bad for you, and has been proven, many times over, to cause cancer.</li>
<li>Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. This will help you fight stress not only in your mind, but will also keep your body from having excess weight. Both of these factors can affect your chances to contract cancer.</li>
<li>Eat Healthy. Get all the vitamins and minerals you need to help you stay healthy and fight diseases.</li>
<li>Wear sunscreen. Make sure your sunscreen has UVB and UVA protection.</li>
<li>Talk to your doctor and get immunization against Human papillomavirus (HPV) and Hepatitis B</li>
<li>Get screened. Early detection is the best way to stop cancer in its tracks. The best way to beat cancer, of course, is to prevent it!</li>
